The site exists at three scales. At the local scale, the small business incubator serves as a hub that connects multiple disctinct neighborhoods: Little Italy, Nolita, NYU and the Bowery. The new businesses that leave this program will find new homes in these neighborhoods, building a new business center. The site also exists within a network of other small business incubators in the New York City area. Finally, by maintaining physical, social and economic connections to an online network, the Innovator Incubator Bank sites itself in the network new economy of global trade.
